Program Description
The dawn of artificial intelligence has roiled the practice of law. Lawyers using it have been sanctioned. Ethics committees have issued cautionary opinions. At the same time, firms and outside vendors are investing heavily in its development and application, with industry buzz to the effect that lawyers who do not develop AI expertise will be left behind. In this program, our panel will explain and debate relevant ethical issues including privilege and confidentiality, diligence, competence, communication and billing.
