Welcome to the American College of Trial Lawyers

The information on this page has been curated to assist you with learning about the College and announcing your recent induction. Whether you are preparing for your induction, or you have just celebrated it, we hope you are already experiencing the professionalism, collegiality and friendship that come with being a Fellow in the College.

At any time when you have questions, do not hesitate to contact the staff at the National Office. Your State or Province Committee Chair is also a valuable resource to find out about activities, meeting schedules, local projects and ways to become engaged in activities.

To keep current on College activities, watch for the monthly eBulletin electronic newsletter as well as our award-winning Journal, mailed to you three times a year.

Preparing for Induction

As indicated in your invitation letter, you must attend one of the three subsequent national meetings of the College to be officially inducted as a Fellow. Our Spring and Annual Meetings are held in top-notch locales and feature speakers you are unlikely to hear anywhere else. Fellows are encouraged to bring a spouse or guest to our national meetings, as our speakers are interesting to lawyers and non-lawyers alike, and there is time set aside for custom tours and sightseeing. Our Saturday night black-tie induction banquet is the place where we will celebrate you and your accomplishments, and welcome you as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
