On July 22, President Deane attended the Minnesota Fellows Meeting at the Golden Valley Country Club just outside of downtown Minneapolis. State Chair Joe Dixon hosted the meeting, with Regent Rob Adams flying in from Kansas City to attend. Overall, there were 40-50 Fellows in attendance. President Deane addressed the group with updates about the College’s strategic plan, now being implemented by the Executive Committee. Upon his mention of the College’s public statements in support of the Rule of Law and in defense of an independent judiciary, there was a round of applause and loud murmurs of approval. Regent Adams also spoke and thanked the State Committee for its work. He also encouraged the Fellows to attend the Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. this October.
