Celebrity & Architecture Tour

Friday and Saturday
1:00pm - 3:00pm

Price: $135

Since the 1920's, Palm Springs has been the playground for Hollywood's elite. To this day, just the mention of Palm Springs evokes images of Tinseltown's biggest stars laying in the warm, desert sunshine sipping cocktails by the pools of their private estates. Leaving La Quinta, we’ll journey about 30 minutes into down-town Palm Springs, where it’s not unusual for visitors to catch a glimpse of larger-than-life personalities strolling Palm Canyon Drive on hiatus from daylong movie shoots, or perhaps to spot Leonardo DiCaprio sipping a cappuccino while visiting his Palm Springs home. This city and celebrity home tour reveals what went on behind the walls of those estates, to see and hear how Palm Springs became the town of choice when Hollywood needed to let its hair down. From Sinatra and his Rat Pack to Liz Taylor, Cher, Sonny Bono, Marilyn Monroe, and Liberace, the sizzle and scandals that defined the Hollywood scene in the Coachella Valley will be revealed.
