
President-Elect Sandra Forbes attended the Region 6 Meeting held in Bentonville, Arkansas, from April 10–12, 2026. Approximately twenty-five fellows and guests attended, representing Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, and Texas. The meeting took place at the 21c Museum Hotel and was hosted by Arkansas State Chair Michelle Ator, who organized and presided over the weekend’s events. The meeting opened Friday evening with a cocktail reception and casual dinner. On Saturday morning, attendees participated in a program featuring three speakers: Matt McCoy, who discussed legal developments related to student‑athlete compensation; David Kennedy, who presented on the history of the U.S. Marshals and frontier justice; and Lt. Gen. Jay Silveria, who spoke on leadership attributes. Saturday afternoon activities included mountain biking or a private tour of the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, followed by a Saturday evening dinner. During dinner, President‑Elect Forbes highlighted priorities from the 2024 Strategic Plan, encouraged fellowship nominations, and promoted the upcoming Annual Meeting in New York City.
