After unfortunately missing the Newfoundland and Labrador Fellows Dinner on June 22 due to travel issues, President Day and his wife Joy traveled to Halifax, Novia Scotia for the New Brunswick/Nova Scotia Fellows Dinner. After a cocktail reception, which took place largely outside at the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron, the Fellows went inside for a great meal. Attendees included Former Regent Michelle Awad and Regent Ellen Epstein Cohen. After dinner, President Day spoke about the College’s role in protecting judicial independence and the rule of law as well as the importance of collegiality among the fellowship and creating opportunities to strengthen and further that collegiality.
