President Deane served on the panel of judges for the final round of the 75th anniversary of the National Moot Court Competition in New York City. Co-sponsored by the College and the New York City Bar Association, it is considered to be the nation’s preeminent moot court competition. National Moot Court Competition Committee Chair Richard A. (Doc) Schneider helped to organize Fellow participation at the regional rounds leading up to the final rounds in New York where thirty teams participated. In the finals, Boston College prevailed over the University of Iowa. All oralists were amazing, impressing the array of New York State and Federal appellate Judges
