The Georgia Fellows held their annual black-tie dinner on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the Atlanta History Center. State Chair Anna Green Cross organized the evening, which drew approximately forty Fellows and thirty spouses and guests. President Day and his wife, Joy, attended on behalf of the College. Past Presidents Chilton Varner and Rick Deane also attended, as did Regent Gene Pettis. The evening opened with a cocktail reception in the lobby of the Center, after which Fellows and guests moved to the dining room for dinner.
President Day addressed the gathering, remarking on the upcoming Annual Meeting, the Cornerstone Project, and the Reputation Project. He and Mrs. Day spent the evening in conversation with nearly every Fellow and guest in attendance. Five inductees attended as well, and President Day made a point of seeking out each of them to welcome them personally to the College.
