Ron Levine, former Criminal Division Chief at the U.S. Attorneys Office in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, is Senior Counsel in the Philadelphia office of Post & Schell, P.C. (www.postschell.com), where he founded its national practice in white collar defense, internal investigations and corporate compliance.
Mr. Levine assists enterprises and individuals that are subject to government regulation or investigation. He conducts internal corporate investigations of alleged misconduct, consults on compliance plans, and defends public officials, enterprises, directors, officers and other professionals accused of misconduct at criminal or civil trials and on appeal.
Successfully representing clients in a spectrum of industries including pharmaceutical and medical device, health care (hospital systems and long term care facilities), advertising, food processing, utilities, securities, financial services, banking and insurance, high-tech, education, communications and transportation, he interacts regularly with agents of the DOJ, FBI, IRS, executive branch Inspector Generals Offices and investigative services, and other federal and state law enforcement agencies.
Mr. Levine is an elected Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He has taught or spoken on internal investigations, white collar crime, criminal procedure or trial advocacy at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Temple University School of Law, Villanova University School of Law, Brown University and the Wharton School and at programs hosted by the Ethics and Compliance Officers Association, ABA White Collar Crime Section, AHLA-HCCA Fraud & Compliance Forum and the Institute on Federal Program Fraud.
He has sat on the editorial advisory board of the Business Crimes Bulletin and was the appointed Chair of the U.S. Sentencing Commission Practitioners Advisory Group, has consulted for the National Institute of Justice, is former Chair of the Federal Bar Association Criminal Law Committee (Philadelphia), was Vice-Chair of the American Health Lawyers Association Corporate Governance Task Force and previously served on the Leadership Committee of DRIs Corporate Integrity and White Collar Crime Committee. Mr. Levine also sat on the Board of Directors of the Committee of Seventy, a Philadelphia-based good government watchdog organization.
Ron’s wife, Emily Squires Levine, is an awardi-winning polymer clay artist. He and Emily have two adult children: Anna, a C-Suite executive at Industrious, and Philip, a musician and Grammy award-winning sound engineer at Igloo Music Studio.
