Ron Dimock is the Principal at DIMOCK IP Chambers providing mediation, arbitration, early neutral evaluation, and expert witness services. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Patent Law at Queen’s University Law School, a Guest Lecturer on Patent law at The Metropolitan Toronto University Law School, and the Editor in Chief of the 5-volume Canadian textbook ‘IP Disputes – Resolutions and Remedies’ published by Thomson-Reuters.

As well, Ron is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a WIPO IP Mediator, Arbitrator, and Expert, a PMAC (Unified Patent Court) Mediator, Arbitrator, and Expert, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a Certified Mediator with the International Mediation Institute, and was certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a Specialist in Civil Litigation and in Patent, Trademark and Copyright Law.

Named Lawyer of the Year in IP for Toronto in the 2021 Edition of Best Lawyers, Ron has been described as The Guru of IP Law of Canada by Chambers Global, the Dean of the Patent Bar by Whos Who in Patents, the “King of IP Litigation in Canada” and a Luminary by WTR 1000 Guide, Chairman of the Board for Canadian Patent Lawyers by IAM Patents 1000, an all-round superstar in IP litigation by Whos Who Legal and not a bad golfer by his two sons.
