Michael H. Biderman

I grew up in rural Eastern Iowa and ended up a double Hawkeye, having received both my undergraduate degree and law degree from the University of Iowa. A week after graduating law school I moved to Fairbanks, Alaska to work at the Alaska Public Defender Agency driven by a sense of adventure and a love of the outdoors. While in Alaska, much of my practice consisted of trial work and courtroom advocacy. Perhaps the greatest privilege in my time as a Public Defender was my work serving many of the communities along the Yukon River.

In 2011 my wife and I decided we wanted to raise a family in Iowa, and we moved to Iowa City where I have practiced ever since at what is now Hayes Lorenzen Biderman Lawyers PLC. At present, all of my professional time is spent representing Plaintiffs who have been injured. As the current managing partner at Hayes Lorenzen Biderman, Im proud of the work we do providing a voice to clients that need an advocate in difficult circumstances.

When not representing injured Iowans, I enjoy spending my time at our familys off grid cabin in Iowas Driftless Region, where my wife and I share our love of the outdoors with our two children.
