Judith Rochette

Judith Rochette is a partner in the Litigation and Conflict Resolution Group. Her practice focuses primarily on professional liability and insurance law.

She holds a masters degree in health law from Universit de Sherbrooke, where she developed expertise in managing disputes in this specialized field. She also represents clients in life and disability insurance matters.

As a seasoned litigator, Ms. Rochette has built extensive experience defending a wide range of clients over the yearsparticularly insurers and their insureds, whether individuals, businesses, or professionalsbefore the civil courts. She is involved in complex cases spanning multiple areas of law. In particular, she represents lawyers facing professional liability claims as an attorney for the Fonds dassurance responsabilit professionnelle of the Barreau du Qubec. She also assists professionals who are subject to disciplinary investigations or proceedings before their respective disciplinary committees.

In addition, Ms. Rochette practises in the field of education law, handling disputes involving professors, administrators or members of university leadership teams. More specifically, she has been involved in lawsuits brought by post-doctoral students and medical residents in the context of their training programs.

Ms. Rochette also represents clients in financial services litigation cases involving the liability of insurance representatives, brokerage firms or financial institutions.
