Josh Weinstein

Josh Weinstein is a member of the Myers LLP Criminal Department practicing in the areas of Criminal Defence, Administrative Law, and Professional Discipline. He represents clients on matters ranging from simple summary conviction offences to murder and has appeared at all levels of court in Manitoba and at the Supreme Court of Canada.

He has appeared frequently as a guest lecturer at the recruitment class of the Winnipeg Police Service, Law Society of Manitobas Continuing Legal Education program, and as a presenter at Manitobas annual Crown and Defence Conference.

Josh is a Past-President of the Canadian Bar Association (Manitoba Branch), and Past-Chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s Criminal Justice Section. Josh was the recipient of the Canadian Bar Association’s Douglas Miller Award, and award which honours CBA members who demonstrated outstanding dedication and team spirit in their ongoing involvement with the Association.
