I was at Hill & Barlow from 1965 to 2002, when the firm dissolved. During that time I had the good fortune to learn from great lawyers, Gael Mahony in particular. In 2013 I joined Prince Lobel Tye in Boston, then a firm of about 33 lawyers. The firm is now (2026) more than three times that size and growing, with offices in Boston, Worcester, MA and Austin, TX. Four members of the firm are Fellows. I am still affiliated with Prince Lobel — at least according to the firm’s website — but as a practical matter I am no longer active as a trial lawyer. I live in New Hampshire and am fortunate to be serving as an arbitrator, largely alone but on 3-arbitrator panels from time to time, so I am still involved in dispute resolution and using the experience developed over more than 60 years at the bar and 40 as a Fellow.
