John C. Duffey was born in Burnettsville, Indiana in 1956. For over forty years, John has worked as a trial lawyer, with a practice spanning accident, commercial, employment, product liability, and real estate litigation. His work has had a longstanding focus on representing national, regional and short line railroads.
Throughout this career, he has provided railroads representation at trial, appeal and in mediation proceedings in a broad range of matters, including accident and injury cases, employment and real estate disputes and legislative initiatives. Hes regularly defended rail operators against Federal Employers Liability Act claims in state and federal courts. He has handled complex real estate disputes for rail operators related to eminent domain, and quiet title matters in Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. He was also honored to represent the Catholic Diocese of LaFayette and Purdue University.
