Jeffrey R. Harris

Jeff Harris is a nationally recognized trial lawyer and founding partner of Harris Lowry Manton LLP. A Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, he represents individuals and families in complex litigation involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, product liability, business torts, medical negligence, environmental torts, and industrial accidents.
Over the course of his career, Jeff has secured hundreds of millions of dollars in jury verdicts and settlements, including numerous record-setting results. His work has been featured in major national media outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, and CBS Evening News. He has been inducted into the Georgia Verdicts Hall of Fame and recognized among the Top 100 Georgia Super Lawyers.
Jeff is known for trying high-stakes cases to juries and is frequently brought into complex litigation by other attorneys to serve as lead trial counsel. His verdicts include multiple multi-million-dollar product liability judgments against major automotive and tire manufacturers, as well as significant verdicts involving municipal liability, trucking accidents, sexual assault, business torts, and medical negligence. He also served as lead trial counsel in high-profile film industry cases involving the deaths of Sarah Jones during the production of Midnight Rider and stuntman John Bernecker on the set of The Walking Dead.
Jeff graduated first in his class from Mercer University School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Mercer Law Review and received the Woodruff Medal. He also holds an MBA from Mercer University and a B.A. from the University of Georgia.
He is admitted to practice in Georgia and the United States Supreme Court and divides his time between the firms offices in Atlanta and Savannah. He is married to attorney Rebecca Franklin Harris, and they have two children.
