President Day and his wife Joy traveled to Portland, Oregon on December 3 for the Oregon Fellows Holiday Party. The event was held at the beautiful Sentinel Hotel in downtown Portland. Past President Tom Tongue was in attendance, along with Oregon State Committee Vice Chair Nick Kampars, who hosted the event. President Day spoke about the Cornerstone Project – sharing successful committee initiatives and providing practical guidance to states and provinces for duplication – along with the process by which the Board decides whether to issue statements and the importance of identifying new candidates for fellowship.
