President-Elect John Day attended the New England Fellows Dinner on April 11 at the Four Seasons in Boston. About sixty Fellows, mostly from Massachusetts, but with a strong New Hampshire contingent, were in attendance. State Chair Nelson Apjohn was master of ceremonies. He introduced the College leaders in attendance, including Past Presidents Joan Lukey and Susan Harriman. President-Elect Day then spoke to the assembled group about the College’s Boot Camp Trial Training Programs and Judicial Independence Committee while emphasizing that the College would continue to speak out as necessary in support of an independent judiciary. To cap off the evening, Past President Lukey introduced the winners of the 2025 Moot Court Competition from Boston University School of Law.
