
President-Elect Sandra Forbes attended the Nebraska Fellows dinner at the Country Club of Lincoln. Regent Rob Adams and approximately thirty Fellows and spouses, including two recently inducted Fellows (Karen Bailey and Melanie Whittamoe-Mantzios) attended, together with Judicial Fellow Hon. Robert Rossiter. President-Elect Forbes made brief remarks about the College’s strategic plan, including the work being done to foster local Fellow engagement, support judicial independence and protect the rule of law. Guests were encouraged to attend the upcoming Spring Meeting in La Quinta. State Chair Steve Davidson paid tribute to recently deceased Fellow, Jack Douglas, a leader in the Nebraska Bar held in high esteem by all.
