
President Richard H. Deane, Jr. traveled to Vancouver for the British Columbia Fellows Dinner, held at the Vancouver Club. The dinner was presided over by Province Chair Brock Martland; also in attendance was Regent Carey Matovich. Around thirty Fellows and guests were present, including the winners of the Gale Cup Competition, hailing from the University of British Columbia. President Deane recognized the winners and addressed the crowd with an update on the College and recent accomplishments. Upcoming mock trial competitions and the Annual Meeting in Washington D.C. were also mentioned. Additionally, President Deane discussed College statements in defense of the rule of law and the judiciary, which were warmly received.
