ACTL provides a number of outreach programs that improve and elevate the standards of trial practice, the administration of justice, and the ethics of the trial profession. These programs are provided for the benefit of trial attorneys, new attorneys, public service attorneys, legal aid attorneys, the judiciary, law schools and law students, and others. The programs include CLEs and other legal skills development seminars and training programs, as well as ethics, civility and professionalism programs. ACTL Fellows may participate in these Outreach efforts as individuals or through the organized activities of their State or Province Chapter. This section of the ACTL website provides an overview of the many outreach activities and resources available from ACTL. The mandates of certain ACTL General Committees include the development of materials appropriate to the College’s mission that can be utilized in all states and province chapters. Additionally, successful programs that have been developed by various State and Province Committees are available for replication.
