About ACTL

The College is an invitation-only Fellowship of exceptional trial lawyers from the United States and Canada who have demonstrated the very highest standards of trial advocacy, ethical conduct, integrity, professionalism, and collegiality. The College has no ties to any political party or any partisan endeavors.

Who We Are

Although there are currently more than 5,500 Fellows across the U.S. and Canada, membership can never be more than 1% of the total lawyer population of any state or province. Qualified lawyers are called to Fellowship in the College from all branches of trial practice.

Events

The American College of Trial Lawyers holds two national meetings each year for Fellows: the Spring Meeting and the Annual Meeting. In addition, there are Regional Meetings as well as local events for state and province chapters.
