To develop, through appropriate communication initiatives, the external profile of the College so that it may serve more effectively and improve and elevate the standards of trial practice, the administration of justice, and the ethics of the trial profession.
International Pro Bono Opportunities
The College has been asked to participate in the ABA's Justice Defender Program, a network of international pro bono attorneys working to defend human rights advocates facing retaliation for their work. The Justice Defenders program is a federally-funded program that was established to mobilize the legal profession to respond to the global crackdown on civil society. Volunteers with the Justice Defenders program can participate in international activities, including participation in trainings, delegations and trial observations. They can also be connected with human rights advocates seeking pro bono representation before international human rights tribunals and treaty bodies. Fellows can sign up on the ABA website to recieve notices of opportunities.
